Justin Bieber: Selena Gomez Admits She's Not in Love with Him - Gather Celebs News Channel

Selena Gomez just gave him what most guys would consider the ultimate diss. <em>The Wizards of Waverly Place</em> star admitted in her recent interview with <em>Seventeen Magazine</em> that she is not in love with him. Ouch! The poor teen dream just can't seem to catch a break. No wonder he cried like a baby while singing <em>Favorite Girl</em> onstage last night in Melbourne. And what's gotten into his <em>Latin Girl</em>? The normally reserved and self-possessed <em>Who Says?</em> songstress just can't seem to shut up.<br/><br/><img height="187" width="187" src="http://ts2.mm.bing.net/images/thumbnail.aspx?q=895840103253&amp;id=3a0f7bc8991a1672884b0b84fbbdf6ab&amp;url=http://images4.fanpop.com/image/photos/17900000/justin-and-selena-justin-bieber-17923555-500-501.jpg" class="sg_t"/> In all fairness to Selena Gomez, her enormous verbal <em>faux pas</em> probably wasn't meant as a deliberate diss. When asked by an obviously cagey interviewer if she'd ever been in love, the 18-year-old Disney star replied with shocking candor that she didn't know if she had ever been in love with anyone.</p><p>"I think as I'm getting older and having more in-depth relationships, maybe I'll experience [love]," Selena explained. "At the moment, I don't know, exactly, if I've been in love."</p><p>Yikes. Once again, to be fair, Selena may have meant that being romantically inexperienced, she's simply not sure if she's in love or not, and she would therefore prefer not to speculate about her feelings for Justin Bieber. Perhaps that's what she meant, and she just didn't express it succinctly. Or not. Anyone who's ever been in love—or even thought that they were—knew exactly how they felt. Even if those feelings later turned out to be spurious or temporary.</p><p>According to Hollywood Life, this isn't the first time Selena has dissed the Biebs. There was the time she forgot—or refused—to thank him in her acceptance speech at the <em>Kids' Choice Awards</em>, not to mention the "numerous times [she]... laughed when asked if she and Justin were dating." And what about all the times she's called him "a kid?" Once again, in fairness, many of those incidents occurred before she and Justin were an "official" couple. Plus, Selena may have simply been trying to avoid incurring the wrath of jealous beliebers.</p><p>Alas, the <em>Seventeen Magazine</em> interview is different from all of the above. When asked in she'd ever been in love, Selena could have simply answered: "Yes." But without naming names. Oh well, guess she just didn't think of it.</p><p>So what's next for Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and their "is it or isn't it love" affair? No one can know for sure. Not even the "lovers" themselves. Perhaps it will all be happily resolved in the end. Or not. There was that other recent interview where Selena admitted that she fantasizes about Zac Efron as her husband.
