Is the Justin Bieber-Selena Gomez Romance Real or Fake? - Gather Celebs News Channel

<div readability="81.6566827697"> <p>Poor Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. Rumor has them either breaking up or faking their romance for publicity. Since they're obviously still together, the question now is: Is their romance the real deal or phony baloney? A new online poll asks that very question, and the results are surprising.<br/><br/><img src="http://ts1.mm.bing.net/images/thumbnail.aspx?q=1075436720604&amp;id=17098b589317446a11296788a38d9e34&amp;url=http%3a%2f%2fwww.lugaluda.com%2fwp-content%2fuploads%2f2011%2f02%2fjustin-bieber-selena-gomez-oscars-kissing.jpg" class="sg_t"/>There are valid arguments on both sides. Celebrity watchers who claim their relationship is fake examine their first romantic vacation. Before that, they'd denied all dating rumors. Then suddenly they were snapped kissing in the Carribean. How did the paparazzi find them? And why do their photos look so...well, posed? In the pic of Justin and Selena "canoodling" on a balcony, the shirtless Biebs leans back, clasping his right knee. He turns to kiss Selena presenting a perfect 3/4 facial shot to the camera while simultaneously displaying his abs. Selena leans forward showing her face in perfect profile. Seriously, who kisses in such awkward positions? Even in their famous <em>Vanity Fair Oscar Party</em> pics, Justin gazed at the cameras mid-kiss. And it has often been noted that Selena regularly looks to the camera in their PDA photos.</p><p>Speaking of Selena, the media often mentions her habit of borderline dissing Justin Bieber. Naysayers can't believe Gomez would date a 17-year-old boy, since most 19 year olds prefer guys in their early 20's. Furthermore, Selena has discussed her crushes on Shia Labeouf (eeww), and she has called Cameron Quiseng the "coolest person she ever met." She has also maintained that she will never marry Justin Bieber whom she often calls the "kid." Of course, that kid is also the most famous celebrity on earth, and Gomez is famous for dating other famous guys--Nick Jonas and Taylor Lautner. Justin Bieber is her jackpot. Before Jelena, Selena was adequately known. Now she's a mega star. What a difference a "relationship" makes.</p><p>But why would the Biebs fake a romance with Gomez? Surely he's not hurting for dates. Reportedly, that's the problem.</p><p>"Justin's people needed to preserve his good boy image," claims a source. "Imagine if Justin was caught kissing new girls every week! Disaster! So they went to the...most innocent of all the Disney stars -- Selena Gomez."</p><p>That's far-fetched but possible.</p><p>On the other hand, it's argued that Justin and Selena never stroll the red carpet together, which they would surely do if they were acting. They spend quality time together trying to do normal things--like visiting each others' families. And their much-hyped PDA only shows how real their love is. In their infamous Hawaiian make-out photos for example, they are so much in "real love [that]...they don't care that anyone is watching. They are totally into each other. All they want is to spend time together, and if the paparazzi are there they really don't care!"</p><p>So, there you have it.
